Viticulture & Vinification
The grapes for this wine come from our Godfrey Road vineyard. The stony, alluvial soils of the vineyard are ideal for producing low-yielding, full flavoured grapes. The grapes were handpicked and gently taken through the winemaking process which included whole bunch cluster pressing and a portion of the grapes fermented in seasoned French oak barrels with wild yeasts from the vineyard and occasional lees stirring.
Description
Our Godfrey Road Pinot Gris is a dry and delicate yet textural wine. A creamy mouth-feel and luscious flavours of pear, pineapple and melon with good acidity lead to a long lingering finish.
